Recipe for the Holidays

Pumpkin Pie Minus the Cow Juice

Some of us can’t do cow.  So here is an alternative for your pumpkin pie recipe for that canned milk!

  • One large can of pumpkin pie mix or fresh pumpkin.
  • 6oz of Barn Goddess goat cheese (plain chevre)
  • 3 All Natural Chile Acres Eggs
  • Spices to your liking (at least 1/4 tsp of clove, cinnamon, ginger, all spice)

Blend and pour into your crust.  Bake for 45 min. at 350 degrees or until a knife inserted in the middle comes out clean.

Happy Holidays from Bubbles.

A Dog’s Life

couch_potatoes_2

You think these dogs have it rough?  Their poor mom, Liz ,is going to have to get another sofa.  They seem to have saved her a spot on the top right hand corner…

Where to find us these days…

Mommas Organics on Thursday Nights and the 3rd Saturday of each month

Briar Patch Sales

Hope to see you over the holidays!

Let it Snow, Let it Snow!!

saluki in snow

Nothing is funnier than a saluki’s first snow.  Here is the brother, Mac, to one of our salukis that live with their great mom, Liz, in Oregon playing in his first snow.  He is from a place in the middle east that doesn’t see much snow–just lots of sand.  You have to wonder what is going through his little puppy brain…

Goats Have a “Man Cave”–Customer Perspective

rub a dub goat in the tub 002

A little over a year ago this was Beauregard after he jumped into the water tank on a cold day and had to come in and warm up.  My husband always jokes that the tub gets used by the animals more than by us (not to worry we do take daily showers).

Well a week ago at the Farmers Market we had a customer ask how Beauregard was doing and we told him he was back with Romeo in the special all male area since the girls were all pregnant.  Matt, our customer explained that the boys were in “their man-cave”.  That set off quite a few giggles and I think we will have to put a sign to that effect on our male goat pen:)  Our customers sure give us lots to think about.
