Who would believe that six seeds would take over an entire 1/4 acre garden?  We believe now!  We started with one small row and in 2 months vines had grown into the horse corrals, dog yard and were draping fences.

We also planted loofas as an experiment since we use them in the goat milk soap for exfoliating.  They were rather expensive when we purchased them on the internet.  We now have an entire bin full and are becoming experts at processing them.

Now that is warming up and we need to begin planting our summer garden and chili plants it was time to pick them.  We were told by several gourd experts to put them on pallets to dry out.  Some had already dried out in the sun so we will take them to the market for crafters to relieve their inner beauty!
